• Program Overview

    Designed for aspiring middle and high school teachers, our accelerated secondary education programs offer practical training in specific content areas.

    This accelerated, post-baccalaureate licensure program is designed to deliver practical training for prospective teachers at either the middle (5–8) or high (8–12) school levels. The program consists of seven courses, including a practicum. Graduates of this program will be eligible for an initial license in one of the following content areas: biology, chemistry, earth science, English, general science, history, humanities, mathematics, mathematics/science, physics, or political science/philosophy.
